Adding Picture Styles to Canon DPP
« on: October 28, 2008, 01:41:18 PM »

Does anyone know of a way to add Picture Styles to the DropDown menu (under Tools - Picture Styles) in DPP?  I know the dropdown shows the six Canon pre-built styles (Standard, Portrait, Landscape, etc.) and you can Browse and select from others (like the one Bob built for Fall Foliage) but is there a way to add more custom styles (like the ones from Canon's site  http://web.canon.jp/imaging/picturestyle/file/index.html ) into the DPP Program Folder so they always appear in the list rather than having to "Browse" each time?

DPP does seem to "remember" the folder location where I have placed the pf2 files, but I would like to see them in the "List" rather than "browse" each time and then only be able to add one to the list.

I apologize if there is a DPP forum and this should have been posted elsewhere.

Thanks

If there is a way, I'd like to know it too!

I have the same problem, I have to load my own picture styles every time I want  to use them.

I'm using DPP 3.5 (which ships with the 50D and should be available for download soon) and it's just the same. You have to load your picture style file every time you want to use it.

This feature has been recently added by the DPP++ plugin.
