I am new to DSLR photography. I am planning on purchasing the CANON EOS 450D. My dlilema is which package should I buy? The first is Canon 450D Body with Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens Kit The second is Canon 450D with Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS and Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Lens Kit. Please help me make up my mind

I'd go for the XSi + 18-55IS with the EF-S 55-250ISIf you buy them togther from Amazon (not a 3rd party vendor) via the links above, there's a $100 instant rebate so you only pay a total of $767 for the camera and both lenses. The two lens kit is not only about $350 cheaper than the 18-200IS option, it gives you a wider range (250mm vs 200mm).

Which ones do you recommend for the lenses EP-S 18-55 f3.5 -5.6 and EP-S 55-250 f4-5.6?

The 18-55IS takes the EW-60C and the 55-250 takes the ET-60 which fits the 75-300mm USM, II, II USM, III USM Lenses & EF-S 55-250mm IS lenses.
