I just was glancing at the cameras at Best Buy - and unbelievably - there was a 5D Mark II in the case. Then, I tried to buy it and they wouldn't sell it. They told me not until Dec 7 (Pearl Harbor Day !). I'm in Knoxville TN by the way.
I did get to play with it.....however (I have one on backorder from Adorama) - really feels lighter and more balanced than my 30D.
Wow. I can't wait.

I can tell you that both Adorama and Amazon are shipping the 5D MkII (and have been doing so for a few days now). Supply is limited, so right now it's a "first come first served" situation, where those who placed the earliest pre-orders are getting the first shipments.
