Hi,I am about to purchase the canon 450D and kits lense(18-55 IS and 55-250 IS) and the 50mm 1.8. ( also the 430ex flash and cards ect) Will these lenses do for what i need??. I intend on doing full body/children(similar to those in the shopping centers)/family/shoulder length/glam portrait type work. I also digitally paint so I have to keep in mind pics may be blown up. I also have ONE freinds beach wedding coming up in which i need to know if these lenses will do the trick also? Theres a tight budget( hence the kit) Any info and advice is appreciated -- I'm out the door in the next couple of days to buy

Your lenses set are very similar with mine, which I'm pretty happy with. I mainly shoot my kid/family and both 50 1.8 and 55-250is are very handy for portrait work. I also have a question in other thread about the set up since I'll be traveling in Paris and other cities.
My guess your setup is OK, given you already have 430ex. I don't have experience shooting a wedding, but 55-250 will do the candid shots pretty well I guess. But I am afraid you can't change lenses very often in such occasion and get stuck with 18-55is most of the time.

I think you have selected the best set of lenses for the minimum price. If you wanted to spend more, there are obviously better lenses, but on a very tight budget I'd say the one's you've picked are the ones that I'd have suggested for maximum versatility.
