Lens Review Request

Hi Bob,
Is there any chance that you can compare the new Tamron SP AF17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di-II LD Aspherical [IF] with image stabilization for Canon...with the Canon f2.8 17-55 IS USM?

Although I would love to purchase the OEM lens, the price of the new Tamron is very enticing to me.

I'll probably be posting a review of the Tamron 17-50/2.8 VC lens in a week or two. Don't think I'll have a Canon 17-55 for a direct comparison though
