The problem with the S90 (and S95) is that they are so small that the user interface can be a little cramped. Avoiding accidentally pushing buttons can be tricky if you have large hands. If you don't need super small, but still want "pocketable" I'd seriously consider the Canon Powershot G11 or, if you want video capability, the Canon Powershot G12. They're both excellent P&S cameras and can take Canon speedlites if you want better flash than the small built in unit can provide. You can't attach a flash to the S90/95.

But at f/2, you don't *need* the flash so much. I am amazed at the number of times that the flash *doesn't* fire on the S90.
But it is tiny!
But it feels really solid.

I own both (S90 and S95). They are absolutely great pocket cameras though the S95 offers more in features such as HDR ability. I was so pleased with the S90 when I bought it that I later added a third parties custom grip and a rear dial collar to address the dials unintended movement. The S95 addressed both those gripes to a large degree by using a more tactile finish and improved the rear dial's design. The dial now turns a tad stiffer with discernable detents and a sligfhty raised molded collar now surrounds the dial to further reduce unintended movement. Indoors these cameras are truly amazing and as Keith pointed out .. flash is needed so much less.

hey...thank you all..and Bob...wel my hands are really small, so I would like a small camera that could fit into my pocket ..not bulky...the point is to have a small, light carry around camera...the one that you could put in your pocket and take it everywhere you go...and ofcourse good photo quality!!
