test chart; inches or centimetres?
« on: August 25, 2008, 10:49:22 PM »

can it be confirmed that the backboard for the full frame sensor resolution test chart should be 24x36 inches, these are the same measurments as the old 35mm film size but in inches instead or mm? Thanks in advance.

I use 24" x36". That give you an approximate magnification factor of 1/25 x and so the resolution target paterns will span the range between about 25 lp/mm (uing the 1.0 line set) and 100 lp/mm (using the 4.0 line set), which is what you're likely to see with DSLR cameras and lenses.
