I heard that the 7D comes with a strap that has "Canon 7D Digital" embroidered on it. Is there any other camera straps that you recommend for this camera that doesn't have any advertising on it as I don't like to be a walking billboard as to what I have around my neck.

There are dozens of different aftermarket camera straps. One that I see recommended a lot is made by Crumpler. No logos and much better padding than the OEM straps.

I think everyone has a favorite neck strap and I like a particular Domke strap I use on my DSLRs. It is the one they make that is narrow at 1"wide, supple for folding away in a bag and has a rubberized thread -backing that grips the shoulder easily. Those three attributes are important to me as I can't stand wide bulky straps that are stiff and take up a lot of bag space. The ones I own do have a small discrete Canon logo but they make the same Domke strap without the logo . The only place I know of that carries the small Canon logo version is B&H Photo and not only is it hard to find but it it is 1/2 the cost as the same strap without the logo. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/87473-REG/Canon_6256A001.html

Thanks for the great responses. Will check them out and see which one I think will be the best for me although they do give a lot of good reviews for the Crumpler.

I have been very happy with the UpStrap. It is very effective in preventing slipping while on the shoulder.

I use a tripod a great deal, and a neck strap can really be nuisance especially with a cable remote.
Both bodies have a quick release strap made by LowePro. They are black, and have the standard rubberized grip thread.
I've been using them for several months now and they seem very sturdy and foolproof.

I use a Black Rapid strap. It's over the shoulder design eliminated my neck strain.
