Title: Wirelss Remote Shutter Release
Post by: saltydog44 on December 10, 2008, 05:57:21 PM
OK - As I fill out my wish list, I'd like to add a wireless (RF not Infrared) remote.  I see a few although I can't find a Canon one.  I saw a reference to a Canon, but it was described as very expensive and I can't find one on the Canon site anyway.  There are others, but not all of them seem to be high quality.

Anyone have any experience with one and a recommendation?

You can get a wireless remote from Adorama. I presume they are made in China, as are all the inexpensive remotes, but thet seem to get pretty positive reviews. They cost about $85, which isn't bad.

The one which fits the 20D/30D/40D/50D/5D etc, is the RSRT04C3P (http://www.adorama.com/Refby.tpl?refby=rflAID012417&sku=CZDR5DR)

The one which fits the Digital Rebels (XT/XTi/XS/XSi) is the RSRT04EOSP (http://www.adorama.com/Refby.tpl?refby=rflAID012417&sku=CZDRXTR)
