Hi Bob,

I am pleased to visit your new site.
I want to ask you about when full frame camera that I want exactly would be released.
Actually, I am eager to get FF camera with light weight, bulit-in flash and lower price. I remember some your comment concerning that FF camera would be main stream within five year. (Sorry, if it is not correct)

Anyway, when do you think can we see the FF camera: full-frame, 600~700g, built-in flash and below $1200(or 1500 at best, I think now 5D is already $1500,if we buy 5D kit: 5D&24-105L)? (Additionally, if they release IS built-in body, no better than this.) Before that, I still remain in sony a200 and some lenses.

If then, my lenses line-up would be 24-105IS, 70-300IS and 85f1.8(or 100f2). The less weight, the more delight.

Well, my crystal ball isn't perfect!

I'd say come back in another 5 years and see how things look. I don't think you'll see a full frame DSLR under $1200 before then. In fact the price of full frame cameras may well stay above $2000 for the forseeable future.

It looks to me like APS-C has taken strong hold of the low and mid ends of the market. I think full frame will definitly take over the high end, with Canon, Nikoin and Sony participating and perhaps Pentax as well at some point if they decide they want to try to get into the high end professional market.

If you want a full frame camera at low cost, I'd say the current $1900 price on the EOS 5D is the best bargain that you are likely to see for the next few years.

However , as I said, my crystal ball isn't perfect and I could be wrong!
