Title: Want to Buy- 70-200mm Post by: alexthephotoguy on March 27, 2009, 09:29:37 AM New to this forum. Not sure if this is the place to post, but I'm looking to buy a Canon 70-200m f/2.8 lens. Scratches and dents are okay as long as it works fine... I'm a new photographer in the Atlanta area and I'm trying to add to my equipment without going over my budget.

There's also KEH (who I think are in Atlanta). The problem is that it's a very popular lens, so if there is a used one for sale anywhere it will sell pretty fast. It also holds its value well, so you may not end up saving much and buying a new one (with warranty) might be a better bet. If all else fails, you could look at the EF 70-200/4L (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000053HH5/bobatkinsphotogr), it's $400 or more cheaper and very sharp.
