Title: ISO Display Changed?
Post by: Roxie2401 on June 10, 2008, 04:05:58 PM
Ok, am I dreaming or did I push the wrong button? Canon 40D.

My ISO display (both on the top LCD and in the viewfinder) is now showing ISO will "small" case zeros.

For example, it shows 4oo instead of 400; 25o instead of 250.

Am I wrong, or did this change?  In looking at the examples in the manual, it seems that it was always full case (400, 250, etc.) - but its been a bad day - was it always like this?

Found it - but I thought I'd post it for others -

Seems like I turned on the "Highlight Tone Priority" and this causes the display to show lower case for ISO.  Sort of neat to remind you that this feature is activated.  (C.Fn II -3)

This camera is way too smart for me.
