The part I like most about the 50mm is that it can be opened up to 1.8! So, to fully utilize the capability of this particular lens, I would suggest opening it up completely. This would mean that you are letting in a lot of light, since this picture is taken in broad daylight. Maybe you can look into a neutral density filter that could cut the exposure by a couple stops (or even play with exposure using some software...). I think by choosing a contrasting back ground (that will be blurred at 1.8 ) and playing with the exposure, will give you a more "desired" image. Good luck! |
