Title: Digital Dark Room skill
Post by: DNA on June 25, 2008, 11:18:28 AM
I used to be a photographer in filme age.  Actually, I am interested in photoshop-work. But rather, I prefer to improve insight and immagination to SEE. But after advent of digital slr, I continually need to learn digital darkroom such as photoshop.

So, could you tell me what book or magazine is suitable for me to learn digital darkroom skill? Now I am perfectly ignoring any software such photoshop.

In addition, I am very eagering to make a copy of black-white picture. My exprience to develop B/W fime is not effective now. I need to learn new skill for digital B/W and for print B/W picture.

Anyway, let me your experience and recommend books or magazine or site for photoshop(digital darkroom) and making B/W printing skill.

Thanks.

I really like Gregory George's "50 Fast Photoshop Techniques", but I think it is getting a bit long in the tooth.

Here is a quick and dirty Photoshop site that has some pretty good stuff about B&W:
