Title: Used Canon 24-70 - What to Look For
Post by: lukeap69 on January 09, 2010, 10:19:28 PM
Hi Bob and all

I am looking to buy a four year old 24-70L lens for a good price. Besides the cosmetic and the glass, is there anything to check for? Example on the 70-300, there are those with serial nos. which needed to be re-aligned (don't remember the issue now). Is there the same case for the 24-70?

Thanks

Arnold

I don't think there are any particular issues with the 24-70/2.8. It's a nice lens.

Thanks Bob.

I think you are right. I went for it and am very happy with the IQ. It is not as sharp as my Sigma 50 but for a zoom, it is plenty sharp and the colours are very nice.

Cheers
