Title: McAfee Site advisor yellow warning
Post by: KeithB on February 23, 2010, 04:05:34 PM
Hi Bob:

Just thought you should know that McAffee site adviser gives your site a yellow warning.  Yours is the only site I regularly visit that does this.  Here is a link to the report:
http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/bobatkins.com?premium=false&suite=false&client_ver=3.0.0.0&aff_id=683&os_ver=5.1.3.0&locale=en_us&&pip=true

A yellow seems to be a pretty minor thing, but thought you should know.

Yes, I think it gets upset by a link to the Alexa toolbar that I have somewhere on some unused page. Alexa isn't bad, but it does track your browsing in order to build it's database of web usage. Alexa is associated with Amazon.

I should probably remove the link. I used to use the Alexa toolbar and Alexa to look at traffic to this website, but I really don't pay attention to it anymore and I use my own stats and Google for traffic analysis.

Thanks for passing along the info. I'll look into it.
