Title: Do I REALLY Need Both Lenses? Post by: bogino on July 29, 2010, 12:47:39 PM Not too long ago I went on a bit of a binge in terms of buying lenses. My question is this: I have a Canon 60mm Macro and not too long after that I got the Canon 100mm Macro. I am by no means a "professional" photographer but when I'm traveling to Costa Rica, besides taking pictures of wildlife I also enjor taking pictures of nice flowers, orchids etc. So...do I REALLY need both of these lenses? Thx.
Title: Re: Do I REALLY Need Both Lenses? Post by: KeithB on July 29, 2010, 12:54:40 PM No, but for flowers the 60mm would be fine and is a lot smaller and lighter. (unless your 100mm is the one with IS, that makes the decision much harder. I would take just the 100mm IS and leave the 60mm home.)
