Title: Canon D1 Mark III
Post by: eep1411 on October 09, 2010, 10:32:52 AM
Would anyone know how to get the Canon D1 Mark III to record more extensive information when shooting, such as:
max aperture, exposure index, distance, sensing etc.? (Extended Photo Info)

Thanks for helping.

I think it records everything it can record in the EXIF data field. You can read the EXIF data using Canon's DPP software (or lots of other EXIF readers).

As Bob said, what software are you using to read it.  Canon's software - you might be able to get by with zoom browser instead of DPP - knows *exactly* what info is there and how to get it.

Note too, that not all lenses share all the info that you are seeking with the camera.  (i.e., focus distance)
