I have made registration a little more difficult because I was getting a lot of spammers registering and posting spam. In fact I was probably getting 10 spammer registrations for every legitimate user. However the board still gets new people registering on most days, so I don't think that can explain the drop in traffic. Plus stricter registration requirements shouldn't stop users who are already registered from posting. So I don't know why we've seen the recent period of inactivity.
