Title: Need advise on photo content Post by: 126andy on September 12, 2011, 05:14:31 PM I am having a problem putting a photo that I am submitting to a contest into a category and thought that maybe you would be able to give me an idea. My family and I disagree on where I should list it, the choices are: People, Animals/Nature, Flowers and Gardens, Landscapes, Structures/Still Life and Abstractions/Manipulations.
I am leaning towards the Animal & Nature category but they are saying that maybe it should be in with the Landscapes. Thanks for any help. What do you think the subject of the image is? That should help narrow it down.

Probably miore Nature than Landscapes, but it depends a bit on what your intention is. If it was my image I'd probably try to crop it so that there wasn't a horizontal line across the center of the image. Images like this usually need a center of interest, but in this case I'm not quite sure what that is.
