I am not sure if this the the right forum to pose my question, but I can think of no others where I might get an answer.  I use a Canon 40D and a 60D and on a recent vacation took a set of still and video images.  The stills were shot in RAW and converted  to JPEGs using DPP.   Using Microsoft Movie Maker I combined them into a movie that I can display on my PC.  Movie Maker allows me to convert the file to a format to display the movie on my iPad.  This I did but after a couple of minutes (the movie lasts for 30 minutes) the conversion process stops and I have a video that I can display on my iPad but which only lasts two minutes. There is a lot of spare memory on my iPad.  Can anyone give me a clue about why this should be or point me at a source that might tell me how to make it work.
Thanks

I can't specifically help, but if you have the movie in a form you can view on your PC you could use something like "Any Video Converter" ( http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/ ) to reformat.re-encode it for your iPad.

I've had issues with Microsoft Movie Maker in the past, which I've just attributed to it being another buggy Microsoft product!

Hi Bob
I downloaded the package that you suggested and it was just the job.  Thanks for the suggestion.

You're welcome. My usual strategy when something fails like that for no obvious reason is (a) reboot the system and when that does no good (b) see if there is some alternative freeware that will do the same job.  Trying to troubleshoot why some piece of buggy software does what it does is usually an exercise in frustration.
