I just ordered a 5D Mark II and a spare battery at Adorama ... I got an e-mail that that battery is back ordered but the camera seems to have been in stock since last wednesday.

Yes, Adorama are showing the 5D MkII as being in stock. You can check this link Adorama - 5D MkII - $2699 to see if it's still available or back-ordered again. The batteries do seem to be in very short supply right now, but luckily the one that ships with the camera is higher capacity than previous EOS batteries |
