Newbie Here....

Hello Y'all,
Im
Marc, but by family n friends call me Poppy. I have been an avid photographer for decades. My 35mm camera was a AE-1 program with a F:1.4 Lens. I have purchased many point and shoot Digital Cameras, for the convience since digital arrived. A good friend, Victor give me a Canon D10 for $100 a few weeks ago. I also bought a Tamron 28-75 f 2:8 from him.  Canon EF-S 18-55/3.5-5.6 on C l got $50. I read Bob,s articleabout triming the mounting ring and did that to the lens, then I bought the same lense with IS and did trhe same thing to it.
My passion for photography has been rekindled. I hope to share and learn from this forum..
