Canon PIXMA Pro9000 For Sale

I have a brand new Canon PIXMA Pro9000 printer for sale. It's still in the sealed box from Canon (never opened). I bought the printer for a project I had in mind, but I don't have the time and resources to go ahead with the project right now, so I'm looking to sell the printer.

The PIXMA Pro9000 is a medium/large format printer capable of printing up to 13" x 19" and it's fast too, with a 13x19 print taking around 5 minutes in the highest quality mode (about 1/2 that time in "standard" quality mode). It uses 8 colors of Canon "Chromalife" dye-based ink, which yields prints with a projected life of 100 years in an archival album or up to 30 years when framed with glass. Typical traditional photographic prints have a display lifetime of 10-20 years. "Lifetime" here is the time before there is any noticeable color shift or fading.

The list price on the printer is $499.99, but it's available from the usual retailers (Amazon, Adorama, B&H, J&R etc, Best Buy, Calumet, Circuit City, Dell etc.) for prices between $400 and $475. I'm asking $300 plus shipping. Shipping would be between about $15 and $40 in the continental US, depending on how far you are from New Jersey and which shipper you want to use (FedEx, UPS or USPS are possible).

It's a great printer and the vast majority of user reviews are very positive. If I needed a large format printer right now, this is what I'd buy (and I did!). It just turns out that in fact I don't need a large format printer at the moment and I don't really have space to store this one until if and when I do!
