| Comments | Original 300/2.8 for the EOS system. One of the first lenses available (1987). Well known for being very sharp and working well with TCs. Replaced by an image stabilized version in 1999. The new version isn't really any sharper, but the IS is very useful, especially if you hand hold the lens (which is possible with a 300mm) |
