Comments | I use this lens as a slightly wide "Normal" lens on my EOS 40D crop sensor camera, as well as a true wideangle on full frame. It's a good lens with low distortion and it's faster than most zooms which cover this focal length. The 24/2.8 is an early design (1988) which uses an AFD autofcus moter, so it's a little slower and noisier then lenses with USM motors. Has floating elements for better closup image quality. |
