| Comments | There are 2 versions of this lens. The first version had a "flower" icon and had 5 diaphragm blades. The second version had a "macro" label in place of the flower and had 7 blades. The 7 blade version is perhaps more desirable, though the 5 blade version is still good and most people won't see much difference. The optics are identical. There's also a "II" version of this lens with some small cosmetic changes (same optics) Overall a well made lens with decent optics and a true ring USM motor with FT-M. Not to be confused with the cheaper and lower quality 28-105/3.5-5.6 lenses. |
