Comments | One of the lowest cost prime lenses. The 28/2.8 is an older design using an AFD motor which means focus is a little noisier and a little slower than with USM lenses, but that's not really a problem much of the time for most photographers. Uses an aspheric element for better sharpness and a simple 5 element design to minimize flare and maximize contrast. |
